Theresa Davis I have worked as an interpreter for civil weddings in Siena for the past four years. I accompany the bride- and groom-to-be for the declaration, which takes place in an office of the Municipality of Siena generally a day before the wedding, to translate as the official Act of Marriage is prepared. On the wedding day, I serve as interpreter during the ceremony, translating word-for-word so that the bride and groom know exactly what they're saying "si" to! (Non-Italian speakers are required by law to engage an interpreter for both the declaration and the civil ceremony.) I am available to assist clients with any type of written or spoken translation during the course of wedding preparations, on the wedding day itself, and afterwards. Contact me at thleda@yahoo.com
